Self-Care Isn’t Selfish

Learning to take care of yourself can be challenging, especially when there is never enough time in the day. Luzio & Associates is now offering an adult self-care group! The group will be led by our very own Jeanne Miller, LCSW.

When? Every-Other Tuesday

Time? Group sessions will be held from 5pm to 6pm.

Where? This group will be held at Luzio & Associates.

Insurance? Most insurance plans are accepted.

Girl Talk

WHAT: Group therapy that provides support for High School girls

WHO: Open to any female in high school

WHEN: Wednesday evenings from 5 pm to 6 pm, limited availability

HOW: Please call Luzio & Associates at 812-479-1916 for information on enrollment and to determine if Girl Talk is appropriate for your daughter. Most insurances accepted.

Girls who attend Girl Talk will meet new people, develop a support system of peers, and have fun! Girl Talk allows a safe place for girls to vent about their problems and develop problem solving skills. Girls who attend Girl Talk will learn assertive communication skills, improve their self-esteem, and develop healthy coping skills.

Girl Talk curriculum includes the following:

  • improve communication with peers and adults
  • discuss current events and the emotional affect from these events
  • improve self-esteem
  • allow open discussion of a topic chosen by the girls in group

Middle School Girls Group

Girl’s Self-Esteem Group Therapy

Group therapy provided by a Licensed Social Worker. Group therapy will focus on improving self-esteem and confidence through education on body image and personal health. Girls will be provided with a support system of peers. This group will also help empower young females to embrace their true selves. Your daughter will have fun, meet new people, and build friendships with people their age!
